Replacing Alpha-i Amplifier Module cooling fans A90L-0001-0510 and A90L-0001-0511

 Replacement of internal cooling fans in Alpha-i Series Amplifier Modules is made easier due to a removable access door located on the top side of the unit. This cover also hold the fan and connector in place as shown below.
Problem: the plastic clip holding the connector in place can become brittle due to contamination and break upon removing the connector in the process of fan replacement.
 
Solution: Replacement fans with self-locking connector that does not require connector to be mounted on the cover. Connector will firmly stay in place. No modification to the unit or cover is required to use the replacement fan.
         
  How to replace the fan (A90L-0001-0510 and A90L-0001-0511)
 
Remove the top cover by firmly holding two tabs show on the left and lifting it up gently.
         
Remove the fan by slightly pushing two clips shown here.
         
Remove the connector by gently pushing the clips as shown.
         
Install the new fan. Make sure the label/sticker is facing up (towards the grills on the cover.
         
Insert the connector to the receptacle while pushing in until you can hear "click" to ensure it is locked in position. The connector itself is keyed and will only fit one way.
         
Re-install the cover. Pay attention to make sure any excess cable/wire is tucked away properly to ensure it will not interfere with the rotor of the fan.
